Ford Launches Video Submission Contest on Social Media to Promote Fusion Energi Plug-in Hybrid


Ford Motor Company is launching an ambitious road trip and video submission contest on social media to promote its new plug-in hybrid, the Ford Fusion Energi.

Called the Fusion Energi Adventure, one lucky contestant will not only win their very own dream road trip, but a new 2013 Ford Fusion Energi as well. Then, the road trip will be taped and edited, producing their very own reality TV show pilot.



“The Fusion Energi Adventure is a natural complement to the launch of the Ford Fusion Energi,” said Tom Grill, U.S. Western Ford Market Area sales and marketing manager. “It’s the perfect platform to reinforce the amazing distance you can travel on a single tank of gas in the Fusion Energi and Ford C-MAX Energi.”

The contest will be judged by a panel of judges, including Grammy Award-winning producer/engineer Krish Sharma, whose credits include music from the Rolling Stones, Al Green and Brian Wilson.




To participate, all contestants must submit a homemade video, describing their own dream road trip. The Ford Fusion Energi Adventure is open to any legal U.S. resident who is 18 years of age or older holding a valid driver’s license.


Entries can be made at several events throughout Northern and Southern California. The full event schedule is available at http://www.fusionenergiadventure.com. The grand prize-winning entrant will be chosen in October, 2013.
