Flash Point Communications Goes International with New Social Media Campaign for Swiss National Tourist Office



COSTA MESA, California, February 3rd, 2015—Switzerland may be over six thousand miles away.  But that didn’t stop Switzerland Tourism from selecting Flash Point Communications in Costa Mesa, California, to create its new social media campaign.

The contest, entitled Lights! Camera! Switzerland., invites visitors from all over the United States and parts of Canada to submit entries for an opportunity to become a TV travel show host.


In May, one lucky winner will be selected by an online vote to receive an exclusive trip to Switzerland to shoot their own travel TV pilot.  On top of that, they will also receive a $10,000 fee for hosting the show.

In addition to the Lights! Camera! Switzerland. contest winner, one lucky person who votes for their favorite travel host online will win a 10-day Grand Tour of Switzerland for two.

The Lights! Camera! Switzerland. contest is open to all adults in the U.S. and Canada (excluding Quebec) who have a valid passport.

The contest winner will receive roundtrip airfare courtesy of Swiss International Air Lines.  They’ll enjoy a 10-day, grand tour of Switzerland.  Their travel TV pilot will be shot by a professional production crew.  And the finished pilot will appear on both YouTube and select broadcast networks.
